Rockville – Donald E Alexander, 81, of Route 4 died at 3:20 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 1994, in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. He was a retired executive for Standard Oil Co. He was born Oct. 18, 1912, in Parke County to James Tilman Alexander and Leora Hoopingarner Alexander. Survivors include his wife, one son, one daughter, 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was a 1930 graduate of Marshall High School and attended Tri State College at Angola. He was a member of Parke Lodge 8 Free and Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Zorah Shrine Temple at Terre Haute, Rockville Elks Lodge 2471, Rockville Rotary Club, First Presbyterian Church at Sun City, Ariz. And was past president of Stan Am Retirement Club at Sun City. Services are 10 am Thursday in Butler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Katharine Worthington officiating. Burial is in Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 pm Wednesday.
