James Williams Falkenberry, age 79, of Grand Tower, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2006, at his residence in Grand Tower, Illinois.
James was born on May 2, 1927, in Grand Tower.
Mr. Falkenberry was a WW II U.S. Army veteran.
He had worked as an auto mechanic before his retirement.
James was a member of the American Legion, the V.F.W. and the D.A.V.
He is survived by three children Sandy Falkenberry of Grand Tower, Steven Falkenberry and James Falkenberry, both of St. Peters, MO;
four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Jack and Benny Falkenberry and one sister Ruth Miles.
