Martin H. Abbas, residing with his family on a farm a short distance east of Doran, died last Friday after a short illness from appendicitis, aged about 27 years.
The funeral occurred Monday afternoon from the church east of Doran and was largely attended, Rev. P. Cook, of this village, delivered the sermon.
Mr. Abbas had been married but a little over a year and leaves a wife and infant daughter to mourn the loss, as well as a mother and 3 brothers.
He was a member of the Woodmen and carried $1,000 insurance in that order which will go to his widow. It is a very sad case and the bereaved ones will have the sympathy of all.
