OBITUARY

James O. HARTMAN, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. HARTMAN, was born May 25, 1925, and departed this life on November 12, 1946, at the age of 21 years, seven months and nine months.

James was a very likeable young man and had many friends both in the Beaver and Forgan communities. He attended the Forgan schools.

He was married on April 02, 1946 to Miss Doris Mae HIBBS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd HIBBS of Beaver.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his young wife; his father and mother, two brothers, Joseph Lee and Frank of Forgan; three sisters, Mrs. Clara GROSS of Vale, North Carolina; Mrs. Myrtle NIELSON of Omaha, Nebraska; and Mrs. Mary MEAD of Swanton, Ohio; 16 nephews and two nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Several selections were sung by a quartet composed of Mrs. Ed POTTER, Lester IMEL, Arch BARROW and Mrs. Gladys LAWRENCE accompanied by Mrs. Will CURT.

Pallbearers were Ernest BARETT, Dean BARNETT, Cecil Ray TEDDER, Lloyd RIGGS, Weldon HEWATT, and Leo MORRIS.

Funeral services were held at the Forgan gymnasium last Friday, November 15, with Rev. H. E. Cook of Forgan officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Forgan cemetery with the Goodner-Mason Funeral Home of Beaver in charge.
