CLYDE EARL PATTON

Mr. Patton, a son of Samuel and Delma Richards Patton, of West Virginia, was born Nov. 18, 1926, at Clarksburg, W. Va.
He married Minnie Rosalie Prunty of Salem, W. Va., Dec. 25, 1945 [marriage license has 1947]. Four children, Stephen Paul, 7, Shafon Lee, 5, Janet Lynn, 3, and Ruth, infant, was born to them.
Mr. Patton served with the U.S. infantry and intelligence service during World War II. He graduated from Salem High School and Salem College.
Mr. and Mrs. Patton and family moved to Fresno [Ohio] last year, where the former took his first teaching assignment. He was a commerce teacher in the Fresno High School and had been rehired for another term.
Mr. Patton was a member of the Baptist Church at Salem, W. Va.
Surviving in addition to his widow, children, and parents, are his foster-parents. Professor and Mrs. William Price, Salem, W. Va., a married sister Leotha, whole place of residence is unknown and a brother, 1st Lt. Samuel Patton, stationed in Washington state.
Services will be held Monday at 7:30 p. m. in the Bonnell funeral home at West Lafayette. Rev. H. C. Heinlein will officiate.
Tuesday, the body will be taken to Salem, W. Va., for burial.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 tonight.
