He was born Jan. 5, 1944 in Lilbourn, MO to the late Elmer Thomas Halford Sr. and Frances Madeline Wooten Halford.
He was a father and a grandfather. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Hayti. He worked as a truck driver and retired from Duffy Farms. He loved to fish and spend time with his family.
He leaves the following to cherish his memory: his children, Lisa Halford of Indiana, Bobby Halford of Hayti, and Mickey Halford and Jess Halford, both of Pocatello, Idaho; brother, Clifford Halford of Hayti; sister, Vickie Thrasher and her husband Gary of Blytheville, AR; brother, Tommy Halford and his wife Cheryl of Caruthersville; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti with Bro. Paul Quinn officiating. Burial was held in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
