Funeral services for Clemens N. Abler, 68, a resident of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, formerly of Route 2, Malone, will be held at 11 a m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mount Calvary. Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. Monday at Huss Funeral Home in St. Cloud. The Rev. Rupert Dorn will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
He died Saturday. Oct. 25, 1980, at Rolling Meadows.
He was born Sept. 16, 1912. in Malone, a son of Joseph and Rosina Casper Abler. He married Genevieve Entringer on Nov. 26. 1940, at St. Cloud.
Mr Abler attended Holy Cross Grade School, Mount Calvary. and served in the Army during World War II. He farmed in the Malone area after his marriage. He also was employed by Tecumseh Products, New Huston and later by Kohlman Cheese Factory, Mount Calvary. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons. Kenneth of Oakfield, Duane of Malone and Paul of Route 1, St. Cloud; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Carol) Schmitz of Route I, Malone: one sister, Mrs. Alex (Ida) Lefeber of Route I, Eden: two brothers. Gregor of Mount Calvary and Raymond of Fond du Lac plus 13 grandchildren.
