Horace Hayle Pare was born in Royse City, TX on Oct. 17, 1898. He was the son of John Abb Pare and Vanarah Dosia Carpenter-Pare. Horace was an enlisted soldier in WWI. He was described as having red hair, blue eyes and of fair complexion. He died at the age of 26 from appendicitis which resulted in a pulmonary embolism.
