William O. "Billy" Cochran -- Bossier City, LA

Funeral services will be held for Billy Cochran at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joey Ketchum, pastor, Western Hills Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends at Hill Crest from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday evening.

Mr. Cochran was born on Oct. 1, 1929 in Atlanta, GA to W. S. and Ora Cochran. He entered into rest on May 23, 2010 at the Northwest Louisiana War Veterans Home. Billy was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War and was owner and operator for many years of Discount Tire Co.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Ellen Holstead. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Delores Cochran, two sons, Carl Cochran and wife Amy, Jimmy Cochran and wife Paula, his brother, R. S. Cochran and wife Mary, four grandchildren, Casey Stewart and husband Wayman, Carrie Haley and husband Stephen, Craton Cochran and wife Jessica, and Julie Cochran, six great grandchldren, several nieces and nephews.

Pall Bearers will be Wayman Stewart, Jr., Stephen Haley, Craton Cochran, Kenny Sewell, Bobby Brannon, Carl Roussel, and honorary pall bearers will be Johnny Murray and Glen "Dink" Dehaberman.
