"Passed away on Oct 25, 2007 after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage. Chester , the son of Adolph and Thelma (Bryarly) Timm, was born on Jan 14, 1927 in Cheney, WA. He graduated form Harrington High School in 1944 as Valedictorian of his class. He then attended Washington State College before coming back home to farm. He married his high school sweetheart, Glenna Defabaugh, in 1947. Chester was very involved in his community. He was a 57-year member of the Harrington Lions Club. He was on the Board of Directors for the Harrington School District, the United Grain Growers and the Harrington Golf and Country Club and served as a Harrington City Councilman. He also was one of the original Directors of the Wheatland Bank, serving for 13 years. He enjoyed golfing and bowling. Chester is survived by his four children, Valerie Adams ( Michael), Debbie Marriott (Nick), Tammy Floyd (Jamie), and Eric Timm (Kelley); and his sister, Frieda Oestreich (Bill). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren… He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Glenna, who passed away in 1988. At his request, a private family graveside service will be held.
