Rosa Addie Foster West, 94, of Route 3, Oneida, passed away Sunday morning, November 16, 1986, at Scott County Hospital after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Issac and Rilda Forbis Foster and was a member of the Grave Hill United Baptist Church. In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester West; five children: Ninney West, Audney West, Gracie West, Bonnell West, and an infant son; three brothers; and three sisters. Mrs. West is survived by two sons: Loyd and Olson West, both of Oneida; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Foster of Oneida; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, in the chapel of the Scott County Funeral Home, with Rev. Charlie Duncan officiating. Special music was provided by the Gospel Echoes. Burial was in the West Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Ken Foster, Ira Lee Foster, Richard Foster, Charles West, Milford West, and Jake Autrey.
