On Sunday evening Aug. 13th, death came into the congregation of Marion Holiness Church and claimed as its victim Paul W. Conger. He has been in poor health for some time suffering from a heart ailment. For a few days preceding his death he had been feeling better and attended services Sunday morning and afternoon, came back for worship night and was stricken while singing in the choir and died instantly.

Mr. Conger was a native of this county being born here and except for a few years in Union County, had spent his entire life in this county.

He was married to Maud McEuen in 1898 and to this union was born 10 children, 8 of whom survive.
