Sharon -- Stella Marie Rausch, 94, died Sept. 1, 1999, at her home. She was born Sept. 29, 1904, in Katherine, the daughter of Eugene and Marie Karlin Schmidt. A longtime Sharon resident, she was a homemaker.

On Nov. 23, 1926, she married Theodore Joseph "Tate" Rausch.

Survivors include: four sons, Joe E. Rausch and Gerry, Sharon; Cletus Rausch and Pat, Wichita; Delmar Rausch and Darlene, Hoyt; Lawrence Rausch and Carolyn, Sharon; one daughter, Arlene Hern and Jim, Sharon; a sister, Flora Ricke, Wright; 39 grandchildren, 93 great-grand- children, and one great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, infant children Theodore Joseph and Marie, and daughter Lavina Stringfellow. Also seven brothers, William, Edward, Linus, Hike, Alphonse, Martin, and Richard Schmidt, sisters Pauline, Justine and Regina.

A Rosary Service of the Altar Society will be at 6:45 p.m. with a Vigil service following at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sharon. The Father Anthony Suellentrop will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Sharon.
