QUITMAN — Funeral services for Mrs. Nonia V. Sharp, 92, of Quitman, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Buck Edmonds Memorial Chapel of Jonesboro with the Rev. Ray Spell officiating.

Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Sharp died Monday at the residence of her daughter in Silsbee, Tex., after a short illness.

Mrs. Sharp was a native of Jackson Parish.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Esther Kees and Mrs. Verbie Thomas, both of Silsbee, Tex. and Mrs. Maggie Smelley of Quitman; two sisters, Mrs. Emmie Smelley of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Velora Boyett of Jacksonville, Tex.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
