M. C. Reck reported that he was in Piqua, Ohio enroute from Indianapolis, Indiana to Newark, Ohio and described the flood conditions from the March 25, 1913 flood as awful. This was recorded in the Weekly Advocate, Newark, Ohio on April 3, 1913. The flood encompassed a large area and many people died and thousands were displaced.
