Rites Monday For Wichitan

Mrs. Maude Eberhardt, 63, of 455 North Meridian, died Friday in a local hospital after a long illness.

Born October 16, 1889, at Waverly, Ill., Mrs. Eberhardt came to Wichita from El Dorado, Kas., 34 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Nola Reeves of Kansas City, Kas., Mrs. Mary Cartwright of 455 North Meridian, Mrs. Helen Stokes of 4960 Meadowview, Mrs. Margaret Wall of 1120 Dayton and Mrs. Betty Fraley of Anabel, Mo.; five sons, John W. Slaughter of 2020 Burton, Ralph Slaughter of Tacoma, Wash., Robert Eberhardt of 428 South Washington, Billy Eberhardt of Wichita, and Clayton Eberhardt of Piedmont, Kas.; a sister, Mrs. Mervin Coleson of LaCrescenta, Calif.; a brother, Earl Challans of Waverly; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Flanagan Mortuary, with the Rev. Don L. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.
