Dr. Clarence Edgar Denton, 82, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday at Masonic Home of Kentucky. He was a native of Genesee Falls, NY, a self-employed family physician, a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, a member of Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church, a life member of the American and Kentucky Academies of Family Physicians and the Jefferson County Medical Society. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Betty Baker, and two daughters, Patricia Ann Denton of Indianapolis, IN and Adel Louise Bennett and her husband, Harvey J., of Evansville, IN. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church, 311 Browns Lane. Burial will be private. Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church or Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.
