Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mable Holly Orton; three sons, Lyle and Vernon of Nunda, and Richard of Dalton; two daughters, Mrs. Gretchen (Robert) Stonebrook of Buffalo and Miss Barbara Orton of Rochester; twelve grandchildren; three sisters, Miss Grace Orton and Mrs. Elizabeth Bly, both of Rochester, and Mrs. David Barney of Hornell; also nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private funeral service was held at the Duryea Funeral Home Saturday. Burial was in the Hunt's Hollow cemetery.
