Canaseraga. Aug. 30 -- Mrs. Lola Margaret Ames, former resident of Burns, died Monday afternoon at her home in Canaseraga after an illness of several months.
Mrs. Ames was born in Pike and was 45 years old/ She was a member of the Arkport American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Ira Ames; a daughter, Mrs. John Eimer, Buffalo; two sons, Ira Ames, Jr., Arkport, and Cpl. Richard Ames, U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Monroe, Va.; two sisters. Mrs. Sidney May of Swains and Mrs. John Frank of Warsaw; three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the home, with the Rev. Frank Karr of Swains officiating. Burial will be in Hunt's Hollow Cemetery.
