Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie B. Duncan were conducted Tuesday, November 23, at 2 p.m. from Sugden Methodist Church. The Rev, L.R. Helms, Waurika, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Franklin, pastor of Sugden Methodist Church.
Burial was in Waurika Perpetual Care Cemetery under the direction of Worley Funeral Home.
Bearers were Dee Lovell, T.J. Overstreet, Albert Howard, Bert Capehart, Jesse Richerdson and Junior Richardson.
Mrs. Duncan died in Waurika Hospital Saturday, about 1 p.m.
She was born Nellie Bell Hall in Gaini Jo, Texas on June 15, 1906. She and A.L. Duncan were married in Ryan on Feb. 17, 1930. They lived in the Terral area until 1947 when they moved Southwest to Wauriko.
Survivors are the husband, A.L. of the home; two sons, Gary of Leoti, KS. and Ricky of the home; two daughters, Mrs Mike Dunn, Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Charles Harrison, who with her two children are making their home with the Duncan s while Mr. Harrison in in Viet Nam.
Also surviving are her step mother, Mrs Bell Hall of Lawton; two brothers, Albert Hall, Oklahoma City and Giles Hall, Moses Lake, Washington; two sisters, Mrs Flossie Ellif, Lawton, and Mrs. D.C.Duncan, Azel, Texas; five grandchildren. An infant son preceded Mrs. Duncan in death in 1933.
