On Monday, Feb. 25, Mr. and Mrs. John Duckworth, living southeast of Wyoming, were called upon to mourn the death of their infant son, Elmer Irl, who died at five o’clock that morning, aged 1 year, 1 month and 14 days, of lung fever, from which ailment three children have been suffering for some time, the two older ones being still in a precarious condition. The funeral took place on Tuesday, the Rev. W. H. Jordan of the Congregational church officiating, and the remains were buried in the Wyoming Cemetery, Mr. and Mrs. Duckworth are deserving of the sympathy of the entire community.
