WYOMING -- L. Arline Adams, 86, of Heartland Health Care Center, Henry, formerly of rural Wyoming, died at 7:35 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 1993, at the center.

She was born Dec. 12, 1906, in Castleton to Alva J. and Delilah Miller Adams.

Surviving are several cousins.

She had worked for the War Finance Committee, the IRS, and the Anti-Trust Divison of the U. S. Attorney General's Office. She also had worked as a secretary in the governor's office and for the National Labor Relations Board, retiring in 1973. After retiring, she managed the family farm, was a licensed real estate broker and sponsored tours overseas as well as in the United States.

She also sang in the Chicago and Springfield opera and was a member of Wyoming Tuesday Club, Stark Country Farm Bureau, Midland Country Club, Kewanee, and Wyoming Congregational United Church of Christ.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at her church. The Rev. Terri Akkerman will officiate and burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Wyoming Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to her church or the Wyoming Library.
