LILLIAN L. DREHER

A funeral service for Lillian L. Dreher, a resident of Canby, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Canby Everhart & Kent Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rock Creek Cemetery in Needy. She died of causes related to age Monday in her home. She was 92.


Mrs. Dreher was born Oct. 26, 1898 in McCook, Neb., and moved to Oregon with her family as an adolescent. She married Will Dreher on Aug. 3, 1915, in Vancouver, Wash.


The couple owned a farm in the Bear Creek area between Canby and Molalla. Mrs. Dreher was a member of the Bear Creek School Board for many years. She was a member of Kirk Rebekah Lodge No. 124 in Canby. Her interests included her family, gardening and her home.


Her husband of 66 years died in 1982. Survivors include a daughter, Iris Stevens of Canby; a son, Walter of Woodburn; a brother, Daniel Roedel of Newberg; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by a daughter, Marjorie Magnuson.


The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to Rock Creek Cemetery Association, in care of Bill Stevens, 9801 S. Heinz Road, Canby, 97013.
