Ervin H. (Rusty) Busby, a resident of Hawthorne the past 32 years, died Thursday at a Reno hospital. He had worked as a bartender at local clubs.
Mr. Busby was born on June 2, 1922 in Pittsburg, Oklahoma. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a member of J.F. Shain Post 2313 Veterans of Foreign War in Hawthorne,
He is survived by his widow Mary Busby; son Ervin Jr., and brothers Frank Busby and Norris Tomlinson, all of Hawthorne; a son, Michael, Kingman, Arizona; daughters, Patty Martin of Chicago, Dorothy Timmer, Pueblo, Colo., and Helen Jones of Mesa, Arizona; a brother Louis Tomlinson, Merced, Calif., sister, Bertha Fisher, Phoenix, Arizona; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were conducted at 2 p.m. Jan 19, at Hawthorne Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hawthonre Cemetery.
