Attilio Acalotto Sr., 76, of 105 Main St., Hahntown, Irwin, died at his home at 10:05 Monday night. He was born May 12, 1881 in Italy and lived in Hahntown most of his life. He was a retired employee of Westmoreland Coal Co. Surviving are his widow Madelene Gianola Acalotto, and the following children: Dominick, Hahntown; Mrs. Alda Ridl, Irwin; Mrs. Emma Hoczur, Hahntown; Attilio Jr., Portsmouth, Ohio. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, and Italian Miners Society. Friends will be received at Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main St., Irwin, until 8 a.m. Friday. Requiem high mass will be held in Immaculate Conception Church Friday at 9 a.m. with Rev. Father O'D. Hanlon officiating. Interment in Irwin Catholic Cemetery.
