CUMBERLAND,MARYLAND — Cornelia Belle Furlow, 93, of Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 11, 1917, in Waynesboro, Pa., Mrs. Furlow was the daughter of the late Harvey Minnich and Margie (Naugle) Minnich. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Furlow; a brother, Harold Minnich; two sisters, Fannie Byers and Betty Shockey; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A homemaker, Mrs. Furlow was a member of the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren and attended Zion United Methodist Church.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap on Monday, May 24, 2010, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Charles Reinaker officiating.
