Hannah Flenner was the daughter of George Flenner and Mary P. Andrew born in Hamilton, Butler, Ohio. She married James Roger Bullion in 1834 in Ohio. They lived in Parke, Indiana where most of their children were born; Mary Jane,(Meritt Woods) born 1835; James,born 1836; Nancy Ann,(George Flenner Shonk)born 1837; Arthur, born 1840; John W. born 1843, Barbara L. Neer); Daniel, born 1844; Garison, born 1846; Elizabeth,born 1848; Martin Flenner born 1850 (Margaret Smith); Sarah May,born 1851. Hannah died in 1852 at 38 years of age, possibly due to complications of childbirth or illness.

James Roger Bullion remarried in 1853 and moved his family to Janesville, Greenwood, Kansas after 1860, where two more children were born, and where they remained the rest of their lives.
