Son of Carl or Karl Müller and Pauline Sabinske, he was born in Kreis Deutsch Krone and came to the United States in 1894 at the age of 16. He married Bertha Eggleston in Chicago, 21 March 1901. They had three daughters: Edith, Bertha Elvira "Vera" and Leanore G.
He was buried 5 January 1920 in Forest Home Cemetery.
