Age 86, of Owosso, went to be reunited with his wife in Heaven, on Saturday, May 15, 2010.

Mart retired from General Motors in 1989 after thirty-five years of service as a heavy equipment operator.

Funeral Services will be held 11 am, Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Nelson-House Funeral Home, with Pastor Roger Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Easton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 pm, and on Tuesday from 2 to 8 pm, with the family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.

Mart was born on May 13, 1925 in Easton, the son of Mart and Pearl (Linzey) Gorman. He served in the United States Army during World War II. On May 17, 1942 he married Loretta Hollenback at the home of Rev. Lyons on Oliver Street. She predeceased him on February 1, 2010.

Survivors include his children, Robert (Judy) Gorman of Owosso, Betty (Lawrence) Delmarter of Chesaning and Linda Holland of Owosso; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and Nancy Gorman of Owosso.

He was predeceased by his wife, Loretta; sons, Dan and Bobbie; granddaughter, Robin Woodworth; great-granddaughter, Emily Gorman; great-grandson, Owen; and son-in-law, William Holland.
