Thomas Robeson was born 8/13/1853 in LeClaire Township, Scott County, Iowa to parents Andrew Robeson and Elizabeth Fetters. His mother died when he was 15. His father remarried shortly thereafter to Mary Warenstaff, and the family moved to Benton County, Iowa circa 1870.
He married Lucinda Worthen when he was 21 on 2/12/1875 while he was farming in Benton County, Iowa. During the next 15 years, they had 5 children: Myrtle, Henrietta, William Arthur, Welze Dewayne and Ward. The family moved around, staying a while in Hamilton Co., Iowa, then moving into Wisconsin, and finally settling in Richland County, North Dakota near Wahpeton.
He died at the age of 66 on 6/16/1920 in Center Township. He is buried in the Riverside Cemetery located in Center Township, near Wahpeton in Richland County, ND. The grave is located at GPS 46° 14' 24" N, 96° 35' 59" W in plot 2--20-213.
