George E. Cashner, 80, former Glen Rock Resident, died at 9 o'clock last night at Pleasant Acres, where he had been a guest for the past year and a half. He was 80. Surviving are a number of nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday.

Son of Louisa (Thomas) Keller and her second husband, George Cashner. She is shown as Louisa Kerchner in the 1880 Census, York County, Shrewsbury with son George, age 3 and her four Keller children by her first marriage. Also listed was sister-in-law Caroline Keller.
The 1900 census shows her as Louisa Keller, widowed, with son George Kerchner. He is buried in the Keller family plot.
Draft registration cards list him as George Elmer Cashner.
Death record indicates usual residence was Glen Rock, York County. He died of coronary occlusion and diabetes in Pleasant Acres Hospital, Springettsbury Twp. Parents shown as George Cashner and Louisa Thomas. Record says he was never married.
