Beatrice Radigan, 82, of West Hartford, died Monday(January 10, 2000) in an area healthcare facility. She was the beloved widow of John T. Radigan, Jr.

Beatrice was born in Hartford and resided in the greater Hartford area all her life. She was a graduate of Hartford Public High School, Class of 1936, and was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

Beatrice is survived by her son, John T. Radigan, of Windsor; her daughters, Rosemary Adamek and her husband Carl of Glastonbury, Eileen Guerriniandher husband Don of Wethersfield; two brothers, Bernard Hopkins of Farmington, Peter Hopkins of Myrtle Beach, SC; six sisters, Mary Flannery of Peabody, MA, Noreen Grogan of Newington, Nancy Forgione of West Hartford, Rose Sarnowski of Windsor, TeresaShea of Bloomfield. Elain Chaponis of Newington; six grandchildren, Andrea Ward, Keith, Matt, and James Guerrini, Brendan and Evan Radigan; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jake Elliott Sullivan and a sister-in-law, Patricia Hopkins of Newington. Shewas pre-deceased by a granddaughter Monica Ward.

Her Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the Fisette Batzner Funeral Home, now located at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Avenue, Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Hartford, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
