Isaac was the last of eight children born to Martin Hartman Sr and Margaret Day in West Virginia. After losing his wife and three children to possibly a cholera epidemic 1873-1875, Isaac's father Martin took the remaining children and removed to Isabella County, Michigan. Isaac would meet his future wife Julia Arvilla LeBarre there, marry and move to Washington state before 1910.Isaac was known to have a drink or two and play a mean fiddle.
There is no marker for Isaac, no headstone, only an empty space, I have no idea why and I find that sad. Isaac is my great grandfather.
