KATHERINE ADRIAN, 89, a resident of Dallas died Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Mrs. Adrian was born on January 21, 1921 to Peter K. and Lena K. Fast in Paxton, Nebraska. Her family moved from Nebraska to Dallas in 1940 where she lived until her marriage in 1947. She worked in Bartel Hospital in Dallas until her marriage. During her marriage she lived in Kansas, Chicago, Indiana, California and back in Indiana until her husband retired and they moved to Salem, Oregon then to Dallas, Oregon where they were members of the Evangelical Bible Church for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer A. Adrian and is survived by her daughter, Avis K. Farris of Mililani, Hawaii; one brother, Daniel Fast of Salem, three sisters, Marie Neufeld of Dallas, Lena Gookin of Galva Kansas and Bertha Workentine of Grafton, Nebraska and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will begin at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 19th in the Dallas Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am in the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Memorials are suggested to the church in her memory.
