CHARLES P. MOORE
MOORELAND, Ind., March 2 - Charles P. Moore, age 67, a wellknown resident of this place, died Friday evening at 6:30 o'clock following an illness of several weeks, from cancer. Mr. Moore recently returned from Florida where he spent the winter in the hopes of benefiting his health. He had been seriously ill for the past month.
Mr. Moore was born in Blue River township June 18, 1850, and lived here all his life. He was married December 16, 1872, to Fanny Wright. Mrs. Moore died several years ago. Mr. Moore was the son of the late Phillip Moore and a brother of the late Benjamin F. Moore of Newcastle. He is survived by an adopted son, U. T. Moore, a member of the county council.
Short services will be conducted at the late residence Monday morning at 10 o'clock and burial will take place in the Mooreland cemetery.
