Carolynne Gene Darger, 67, passed away on May 19, 2010 while surrounded by her family in West Valley City, Utah.

She was born November 8, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clifton Herbert and June Emma Burke Carpenter.

Married Paul Eldren Darger on February 28, 1960 in Salt Lake City. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1997.

She did beautiful crochet work, and loved gardening and flowers. She loved to go on motorcycle rides with her companion, Ken. She loved chocolate, and she loved to take care of people.

Survived by companion, Kenneth L. Webster; children, Lynnette Burn, Paul Darger, Jr., Michale H. (Linda) Darger, Julie (Randy) Debban, Genie (Gary) Berntson, Robert J. Darger, Hope (Darrell) Leighton, and Holly (Jim) Nagel; sisters, Angela (Val) Sollars and Roberta (Dale) Adams; seventeen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; cousin, Leugene (Linda) Olsen; dear friend, Raeola (Butch) Whall; and all of her friends at Just Add Coffee. Preceded in death by a grandson, Dawson Debban.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South). There will be a viewing held on Saturday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East).
