CENTER ­ Lillian B. Roberts, 84, of Center, died at 9:15 p.m. July 22, 2000 at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at Salem Baptist Church in rural Ralls County. The Rev. Jeff Fisher will officiate. Burial will be in Grand View Burial Park.

Mrs. Roberts was born March 15, 1916, in Azen to Harley G. and Bernice E. McGowan Griffith.

Mrs. Roberts was first married to Roy Melvin Maddux. She next married David Roberts. He preceded her in death June 6, 1985.

Survivors include two sons; one sister; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harley Griffith and Roland Griffith; and one sister, Helen Schuermann.

Mrs. Roberts had lived in Center for 12 years, after moving from Ten Mile, Tenn.

She was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. She also was a member of the Seniors Group of Center and was a former member of the Eastern Star.
