Services for Jesse Edward Self, 65, of Mack, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Cottonwood Funeral Home, Cottonwood, Ariz. Burial will be in the Cottonwood Cemetery.
Mr. Self had farmed in the Verde Valley in Arizona from 1930 until he moved to Mack five years ago. He was born at Reck, Okla., April 6, 1902, and moved to Arizona in 1918. He married Sylvia Pearl Baxter at Phoenix on Sept. 20, 1923. Surviving are his wife; five sons, Clinton of Mack, Melvin and Howard, both of Fruita, Lloyd of Flagstaff, and Alive of Phoenix; two daughters, Mrs. E. T. Patton of Phoenix and Mrs. Faires Dobyns of Cottonwood; three brothers, Jack of Buckeye, Ariz,, Bill of Ashland, Ore., and Fred of San Bernardino Calif.; 27 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild..
