Dr ROY BRINDLEY:[Died Sunday 9-21]; he was born 24 Jun 1890 in Barnum & came with his family to Boscobl when a small boy. He atten-ded Boscobel Public Schools, graduated from high school in 1909, going later to the Univer-sity of Wisconsin-Madison, where in 1915 he graduated. His next step towards his profes-sion was enrollment in Rush Medical College in Chicago, from which institution he completed the course. During the World War, he was listed in the Medical Reserve; ready to serve if the call came. DrBrindley was an intern for a year at the GeneralHosp in Madison. He began his professional career on the staff of Parker Hosp in Boscobel. Later he went to practice & make his home in MtHope.
Brindley married Emma Dowling in Chicago IL; she was from Crawford Cnty; they had 2 chil-dren: Roy & Clara Evelyn. He is survived by his wife; children; mother; a sis: Hazel; a bro: Ralph. His father died 1 Oct 1903.
The funeral service was held at Boscobel ME Church-RevErnest Jeffrey officiated. Knights of Pythias Lodge, of which he was a member, attended in a body & took part in the cere-monies. Burial was made in Boscobel Cem.
