This pensioner said in 1820, "I enlisted in 1777 into Catlin's company, Col. Meigs' regiment, Connecticut line, and was transferred to the command of Capt. Tinybe, under Col. Zebulon Butler, where I remained until the close of the war." He was then 66 years old and his wife 62,-not as above--owed $51.40, but his property was worth $64. 91. In the family was a son, Truman, aged 18, and a daughter, Lucinda, 16 years old.
