Ann was first married to William Gentry and separated from him when he left for the Civil War never to be heard of again. Ann left Georgia for Kentucky when the War begin and later migrated to Ft. Smith Ark. Where she remarried a William Shuler. They lived in Ft. Smith untill the time of her death. She Lived to the age of 105 Yrs.

Some think she was born in 1823 and others think she was born in 1832. I was also given information that Ann was married the second time to a Mr. Smith as she had the name Ann Smith when she married William Shuler.
Her death certificate,and her obituary state Ann's birthdate as Jan 3, 1823.
