DIETZ - STONER NUPTIALS AT BRIDES HOME, HELLAM
Wellknown Young Woman of Borough Wedded to Mechanicsburg Man. On Their Honeymoon.

HALLAM. Nov. 10. - A very pretty home wedding took place today at the home of Mrs. David Stoner, in Hallam (sic), when her daughter, Miss Edna Stoner, was wedded to David Dietz, of Mechanicsburg. Pa.
Promptly at 3 o'clock the bridal party entered the parlor of the Stoner home, and the beautiful ring ceremony of the Reformed church was performed by Miss Stoner's pastor, the Rev. Mr. Sando, of Hallam. The party was attended by Elmer Quickel, as best man, and Miss Alverta Stoner, a sister of the bride, as maid of honor. The ladies were dressed In white, and the groom and his best man in the conventional black. Only the Immediate relatives of the two families were present. Miss Geneva Hauser, a niece of the bride, was flower girl.
The decorations were potted plants and chrysanthemums artistically arranged. After the ceremony an elaborate turkey dinner was served.
The happy couple left at 6:30 o'clock for points east, on an extended honeymoon, and upon their return will reside in Mechanicsburg, their future home. The best wishes of a large circle of friends go with them.

Edna S. Dietz
Edna S. Dietz, 100, of 1706 Linewood Drive, Camp Hill, and a former resident of Hallam, died Friday at Misericordia Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late David C. Dietz.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Church of Christ, 200 E. Market St., Hallam. Burial will be In St. Johns Cemetery, Shiremanstown. The family will receive friends at the church Monday between 1 and 1:30 p.m.
Contributions may be made to the Trinity United Church of Christ.
The Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dietz was born in Hellam Township, and was the daughter of the late David and Emma Dietz Stoner. She was a membe4r of Trinity United Church of Christ.
Surviving are a son, D. Stoner Dietz, of Camp Hill; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth D. Ensminger, of Silver Spring, Md.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Alverta S. Blessing, of York.
The Rev. Dean R. Feather will officiate.
