Obituary- Published in The Calgary Herald, Calgary Alberta, Nov 10, 1972 Friday page 43--Lorimer- Nov 9, 1972, James, age 74 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Heloise Lorimer, Airdrie Alberta. Born in Hamiota Manitoba, he came to Airdrie district in 1922. He operated a welding and garage business for the past 50 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Gary and Buzz, both of Calgary and Rick of Aidrie. Also 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters Mrs. Roy Quickfall of Victoria BC and Mrs. Otis Strong of Calgary; one brother Robert Lorimer of Edmonton. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Walter Judge and Rev. Norman Radway from the Airdrie United Church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Friends kindly omit flowers at the residence and in lieu of flowers , donations may be made to the Airdrie united Church Christian Education Building Fund. McInnis and Holloway Ltd.
