Visitation services for Mrs. Shirley Ann Wooton, 69, of Cullman formerly of Louisville, Ky., will be on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 6 - 9 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home on Preston Highway in Louisville, KY, on Friday evening May 14, 2010 form 5 - 8 p.m. and funeral services will be held in their Chapel on, Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10 a.m., with interment at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Mrs. Wooton was born in Louisville, Ky. on Feb. 16, 1941 to John Henry Stillwell and Lottie Belle McCutchen Stillwell. Shirley and her husband Robert were active members at Northside Baptist Church, in Cullman. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and needlework; and was a very "loving" mother and grandmother, and homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; infant sister Patricia Stillwell; and one granddaughter, Nicole Carter Wooton.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Robert M. Wooton of Cullman; two daughters, Shirley Jo (Dennis) Trimble of Cullman and Jennifer (Don) Krajewski of Indianapolis, Ind.; one son, John Wooton of Georgetown, Ky.; one brother, William "Buddy" Stillwell of Louisville, Ky.; and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Elison Wooton and Robert Elton Trimble.
In lieu-of-flowers, the family request donations be made in Shirley's memory to The American Cancer Society.
