Mrs. Courtney died Monday, Dec. 24, 2001, at her home.
A Stafford County native, she retired from G&H Manufacturing Co. with 46 years of service. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Scott Courtney.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances Mullen of Fredericksburg; a brother, Preston Beach of Stafford; one granddaughter; two stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter; and one stepgreat-great-granddaughter.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to White Oak Rescue Squad, Box 5603, Falmouth, Va. 22403; or to Fredericksburg Rescue Squad, Box 444, Fredericksburg, Va. 22404; or to the Fredericksburg Baptist Church Building Fund, 1019 Princess Anne St., Fredericksburg, Va. 22401.
