Theora Rigby Gledhill, age 88, passed away Monday, August 7, 2006, in West Jordan, Utah. Born October 10, 1917, in Fairview, Utah, to William E. and Mary Peterson Rigby. She married Alden LaMar Gledhill September 19, 1938, in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death March 1976. Faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings including receptionist at the Jordan River Temple for 15 years. The gospel and her family were her life. Survived by three daughters and one son: Shirley (Ralph) Smith, Linda (Steve) Honsvick, both West Valley; Joyce (Conrad) Tanner, South Jordan; Edwin L. (Linda) Providence, Utah; 28 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one daughter, Juanita Knudsen; parents; and all 10 of her brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 10, 2006, 11:00 a.m., at the Granger West Stake Center, 3935 West 2925 South. A viewing will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment, Holden City Cemetery.
