Voyza Austin Wallace, age 81, of Story, died Tuesday, February 2, 1988 in the Yell County Hospital. She was born in Montgomery County, the daughter of James J. Smith and Caroline Lee Smith, a lifetime resident of Aly and Story communities and was a member of the Crystal Hill Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Austin of Story and Bobby Austin of Aly; one daughter, Maxine Standerfer of Story; two sisters, Jewell Swaim of Benton and Faye Howerton of Farmersville, CA; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday, Feb. 4 in the Aly Community Church with Brother Darrel Goss and Brother Paul Burke officiating. Burial was in the Aly Cemetery by Davis Funeral Home.
