Mrs. Anna Tannehill, 75 years old, wife of L. M. Tannehill of Winnfield, died at her home here Tuesday, Dec. 22nd, after an illness of several weeks.

Mrs. Tannehill was twice married, the first time to a Mr. Warren in Natchitoches and who had been dead for more than twenty years, the second time to L. M. Tannehill about three years ago. To the first union there were born eight children, six of whom are still living, three sons, Cleve and Seaborn Warren of Jonesboro, and Elbert Warren of Rochelle, three daughters, Mrs. Ida Hughes of Providence, Mrs. Melissa Perdue [sic Pardue] of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Markavan of Skidder.

She was a member of Old Saline Baptist Church, having joined in early womanhood.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Murray of Jonesboro, assisted by Rev. Stokes and Rev. Caraway, Wednesday, December 23rd at three o'clock and interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery.
