Robert Eugene Hoot was born April 10, 1932 in Willow Springs, Texas to Aaron Burr and Annie (Johnson) Hoot. He passed away in Livingston, Texas on July 4, 2022.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Beverly Hoot, son Jimmy Hoot, and son Aaron Hoot; and ten siblings.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Marjorie; children Joann, Michael, and Robert Hoot; and twin sister Robbie Meadors. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.
Robert honorably served his country in the United States Army. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic. He will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind to cherish his memory.
