Moser - Thursday evening, April 17, 1947. At 7:45 o'clock at an infirmary, Thomas Flood Moser, aged 84 years. Survived by wife, Sarah Margaret Moser; daughters, Mrs. Herbert Wilson of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. S. T. Ross of this city. grandchildren: Commander Herbert Wilson of M.C. U. S. Navy and Lt. Thomas Moser Wilson of M. C. U. S. Army, Thelma Margaret and Nancy Jane Ross of this city; one great-grandchild. Remains are at the parlors of John C. Roesch & Co., 1529 Broad Street. Leaving the parlors Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Funeral services from the Lindsey Avenue Church of Christ at 3:00 o'clock, conducted by James A. Allen and Ira North. The elders and deacons of the church, J.T. Allen and Lon A. Tanksley will serve as honorary pallbearers. Active: Dr. Bruce Weaver, Dr. Paul Srygley, , Dr. A. B. Thatch, Sr., Joe Duncan, Ervin G. Hardy, R.L. Schneider, Houston Northcutt and W. H. Milom. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. John C. Roesch & Co., funeral directors.
Unable to find his headstone while visiting cemetery Nov 2006 and again in Jan 2009. According to cemetery records he and his wife are buried in Section 12, Lot 71, which is listed on plat as belonging to a George W. W. Sweeney, did find some Sweeney markers but none for Moser's. The Thomas Moser family lived next door to a Thomas B. Weaver family in 1930 who according to cemetery records are also buried in this lot.) George W W Sweeney was married to Cecelia St Clair a sister to Thomas' wife Sallie St Clair.
